The Philippines has a non-visa agreement with Korea.
If Koreans enter the Philippines, you will receive a 21-day tourist visa,
After that, you must extend your visa, extend your visa once every 59 days, and then every 30 days thereafter.
The SSP stands for Special Study Permit and is a visa issued by the Philippine Immigration Service to a student who entered on a tourist visa but want to stay longer and study. (In Korean, you can see it on educational permit.)
Keystone is located within SBMA, one of the safest place in the Philippines wherein firearm is not available. This region is the only Presidential Free Economic Zone in the Philippines and it is managed by the Philippine government based on the Autonomous Law, which closely resembles that of the United States. The region is also one of the most successful economic zones in the Philippines, where more than 1,600 police are in charge of policing.
There are lots of Korean in the Philippines because it is the best place to start English in terms of price and environment for Koreans.
But it is okay not to worry about it because it is true that there are many Koreans who go to any country. Now that you have to learn how to study English, even if you go to the Philippines,
Keep your relationship with Koreans, and you can spend the rest of your time with local teachers.
In order to prevent pollution, Subic can not carry jeepneys or tricycles like other parts of the Philippines. For that reason, most FBs and taxis are used, FB costs 13 pesos, and taxis cost 200 pesos when using call taxi.
Regulations
- Do not bring any dangerous items such as alcohol, guns, knives, or weapons in academy
- Prohibition of acts of violence such as assault, theft, property destruction
- No access to academy buildings without permission during regular working hours
- Be sure to wear academy ID and follow the dress codes during the class.
- Appropriate attire for classes (no hot pants, mini skirts, sleeveless t-shirts or tank tops)
- Observe proper hygiene
- Forbid using cell phones during class and it must be turned off.
- Address the title “Teacher” to your teacher
- Follow the teacher’s instruction properly during class
- Avoid inappropriate physical contact between other students and teachers
- Do not use other’s goods without permission
- Respect other cultures and lifestyles, avoid sensitive subjects (religion, politics, past history, etc.)
- Do not interrupt other students while giving their comments and opinions during class
- Visitor is allowed to visit from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm with permission in advance from the office manager.
- You must inform the office when you lose your dormitory key (you have to replace all the dormitory keys to prevent someone from using your lost key, penalty: 1,000 pesos)
- EOP English Only Policy must be implemented within the academy premises
- Noise control after 10 pm (to avoid disturbing other people’s sleeping, studying, warning in case of violation and dismissal)
- No other students are allowed to enter and exit the dormitory room (except for students who have lost their dormitory roommate)
- Using tapes, pegs, etc. in the dormitory are prohibited.
- Observe the meal time and you are not allow to carry-out of tableware (Penalty for violation: 500 pesos)
- Check your academy hours and set your clock (all rules are based on academy time)
- Always keep important things with you in order to avoid theft
- CCTV is not available for private use without prior permission
- When going out, make sure to log in the guard house’s diary and surrender your ID card and dormitory key
- Observe the academy’s curfew hours (from Sunday to Thursday: 11 pm, Friday and Saturday: 1 am on the day before holiday)
Warning Action (Primary / Secondary, Third Offense)
- Curfew
- If you go outside the campus without prior permission (if necessary, you can consult with the academy manager before you can get permission)
- Unauthorized use of academy keys or restricted access
- Trying to bring alcohol
- Smoking inside campus outside the designated area (there is a designated area for smoking)
- After 10 pm, Noise
- If you are absent from academy twice a week (depending on the situation, the class will be deleted for 4 weeks and a separate assignment will be given)
- Other violations of academy regulations
Expulsion (no refund)
- Very bad attitudes towards the rules of academy, officials and staff
- Gambling, theft
- Attempting to go out after curfew
- If defamation or property damage is caused by the students(we may claim damages for damages)
- Comparing and promoting your agency to other students
- In and out of the room
- Failure to report damage to academy facilities
- To have an intimate relationship with the officials, staffs or teachers
- Trying to bring in illegal drugs
- Other violations of academy regulations
- If you want to extend the course, please contact the academy manager. After confirming the extension possibility, you must apply for extension at least 4 weeks before the end of the training. The extension fee must be paid in full two weeks before the extension start date.
- If you change your course (eg Intensive → General), you must make a decision after consulting with the academy manager about one week before the start date of the changed course. No refund will be made for any difference in the course.
- In the event of natural disasters, war, unexpected events, flight delays or cancellations or inability to provide services, we or our agents will not be liable for any damages or liability whatsoever.
- We are not responsible for any loss of life, damage, etc.
- The academy is held liable for all the accidents, lost or illnesses that occur within the academy premises but if the students go outside (when going out and traveling), we will not be responsible for any problems that may happen.
- Students can only be compensated within the limits of the Student Insurance and Travel Insurance, which is compulsory when enrolling, and no additional compensation will be made by the academy.
- Regular classes are based on 5 days a week from Monday to Friday.
- We reserve the right to change prices in the event of exchange rate and tax increases, other government legal provisions, or reasons beyond our control, and to improve the quality of our students’ And to change the program.
- We may give warning to students who are not interested in classes such as classroom tardiness, unexcused absences, violence, and bad attitudes, or cause difficulties in creating a academy atmosphere. And if it is not corrected, has the right to dismiss it.
- The academy reserves the right to promptly dismiss the student without warning when he or she violates the academy rules and regulations or by holding a meeting which may lead into damages.
- Students have the right to notify their family and their agents before and after the expulsion or refund due to a problem with the students.
- All students must be enrolled in the International Student Insurance program while studying at Keystone.
- If a student does not want to take out an international student insurance, Keystone will not be held responsible for any medical damage, injury or loss of property.
If you need to stop training for a while due to your personal circumstances, you can hold training once within the training period and start training again within 6 months from the written application date. After six months, the application for holding training will automatically be canceled / terminated and no refunds or compensation will be made for this.
All refunds must be made in writing and filled out with a “Refund Request Form”. All refunds will be processed within 30 days of the start date of the refund request.
No refunds will be given for any refunds made after the arrival of the course.
Refund Policy
- After the arrival in the country Course opening 25% or less: 50%
- Course opening after arrival 26% ~ 50%: remaining 20% tuition
- Course after arrival 50% after course: No refund
- No refunds will be made for courses shorter than four weeks.
- If you are unable to cancel due to illness or serious illness or death of your immediate family (parent, sibling, spouse, or child), you will be entitled to a 60% refund of the remaining amount.
- If you arrive later than the course start date or do not arrive, no refund will be made.
- No refunds will be made if you are dismissed in violation of academy regulations.
- Regular classes and refunds will not be given on public holidays by the Philippine government. (Keystone has a minimum of 18 teaching days per 4 weeks.)
Students whose attendance rate is less than 90% will not receive a certificate.
- All applications must be submitted at least four weeks before the start of the course, along with a copy of your passport with the enrollment fee (100,000 won, non-refundable) and application form.
- Acceptance Letter can be issued after payment of the enrollment fee.
- Prospective trainers must provide advance notice of food allergies, diseases, and physical disabilities.
- All tuition fees must be paid in full two weeks before the start of the program. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of registration and you are solely responsible for this.
- After registering, please book for tickets through an agency.
- Students must leave the dormitory on the designated date and start the course on the date specified on the application form.
- When changing course and dormitory room types, you must decide with the local manager beforehand.
- Prospective students must be familiar with and agree to the academy’s regulations, living arrangements and refund policies.
For tuition of less than 4 weeks, tuition will be based on the following criteria.
1 week: 40% tuition for 4 weeks tuition
2 weeks: 60% tuition for 4 weeks tuition
3 weeks: 80% tuition for 4 weeks tuition
Materials
Prepare yourself according to the detailed instructions from the preparation of your passport to your visa information, personal items, exchange and immigration procedures. Please refer to the immigration report at the bottom of this page and fill out the form well.
Airport Pick-Up Service
When arriving in Keystone for the first time in the Philippines, the student manager provides a safe pick-up service to the new students from Manila or Clark International Airport to Subic Keystone. You will have to know the arrival airport terminal, meeting place, local pick-up person in advance and meet our Keystone student manager at pick-up meeting place on the day of arrival in the Philippines.
Note
- Please check the faces, names and contact details of the pick up personnel.
- Pick-up staff will pick you up from the airport to the academy and guide you to your dorm room when you arrive.
- The person in charge can be changed according to local circumstances. Please contact us in advance if you change the schedule of flight delay or departure delay.

Note
- KEYSTONE courses and classes start every Monday.
- KEYSTONE trainees must take at least one week of classes in accordance with the selected course schedule.
- Classes and instructor changes are available every Wednesday, and may not be changeable depending on the school schedule.
- Course changes must be made in consultation with the office manager, which may incur additional costs.
- If a regular class is missed more than once a week without a prior authorization, the class will be automatically canceled and you will not be able to participate in the 4-week class and will need to reapply later.
- KEYSTONE certificates will not be issued if attendance is less than 90%.
